Beach Trail Sandal

A hiking sandal for water you walk into on purpose. The air mesh straps drain and dry fast, the three hook and loop points let you set the fit in seconds, and the rubber outsole carries the deep lug pattern RAX puts on its trail shoes.

Materials and build

• Air mesh upper straps that drain and dry quickly
• Three hook and loop straps at the forefoot, midfoot and heel
• Rubber outsole with deep multi-directional lugs
• Moulded footbed with a raised bumper at the front of the sole

Fit and sizing

True to size, so order your usual EU size. The men's colourways run 39 to 46 and the women's run 36 to 39. Set all three straps rather than one and the sandal holds through wet ground without you gripping with your toes.

Terrain and use

Built for summer ground with water on it: river crossings, rocky shorelines, beach walks and warm trails. The open toe and the mesh straps drain instead of holding water. This is not a closed shoe and it does not protect like one, so it is the wrong choice for scree or cold mornings.

Care

Rinse with clean water after salt or silt and air dry away from direct heat. Scrub the straps with a soft brush.
