Blazer Hiking

The Blazer Hiking is made for trails where water is part of the route. It is an amphibious hiking shoe: the open mesh upper lets water drain straight out and dries fast, so a stream crossing or a sudden downpour does not leave you walking in wet shoes for the rest of the day. Underneath sits the paw outsole RAX is known for, a wide rubber sole with deep sculpted lugs that holds on wet rock and loose ground while keeping the shoe at trail-runner weight.

• Breathable quick-dry mesh upper with welded overlays for support
• Signature RAX paw outsole in anti-slip rubber with deep multi-directional lugs
• Cushioned PVC insole
• Low-cut collar and a padded heel pull for easy on and off

Fit and sizing

True to size. Compare your foot measurement with the chart and allow room for the socks you plan to wear. This style is sold in the whole EU sizes shown in the selector. Available in EU 39 to 46. See the size chart for exact foot lengths in centimetres.

Terrain and use

Best on mixed trails with water on the way: creek and stream crossings, wet rock, muddy paths, and warm-weather hikes where breathability matters more than insulation. This is not a waterproof shoe, and that is deliberate. Instead of blocking water it sheds it and dries quickly, which is the right trade for amphibious use.

Care

Rinse off mud with clean water and air-dry away from direct heat. Take the insole out to speed up drying after a wet day.
